Restored Victorian House
The Cape Colonial Guest House is a restored 1896 Victorian semi-detached house in Gardens, Cape Town. It retains original features including embossed ceilings, stained-glass windows, and polished wooden floors. The property is a cream, double-story building at number 13 on the left-hand side of the road, diagonally opposite the Lady Hamilton Hotel.
Colonial-Style Rooms
Four rooms are furnished in colonial style with parquet floors and ceiling fans. Each room includes a TV, tea/coffee making facilities, a safe, and free WiFi. Private bathrooms have showers (one features a bath with hand-shower), hairdryers, and free toiletries. One twin room offers a large private balcony and seating area.
Central Gardens Location
Located in Cape Town CBD on a peninsula beneath Table Mountain. The property is a 5-minute walk from Kloof Street restaurants and coffee shops, 1 km from De Waal Park, and 0.5 km from the Mount Nelson stop for the City Sightseeing tour. Public transport to the Waterfront and Hout Bay is nearby.
